Techstars’ Startup Next Montreal announces new cohort
Techstars‘ Startup Next program is unveiling the five new startups accepted into its third cohort.
Startup Next is a “pre-accelerator” program that prepares teams for future acceleration or seed investment. According to a blog post by program lead Sergio Escobar, Startup Next Montreal received applications from teams in Vancouver, Kiev, San Diego, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Montreal and more.
“Among the 20 cities running the program worldwide in four continents, Montreal is the #1 Startup Next city with the highest concentration of graduates at Techstars Accelerators,” wrote Escobar. He said four Montreal startups joined Techstars Accelerator programs over the last nine months, including Navut, Heddoko (Boston), Logrr (Barclays NYC) and Makerbloks (Target Minneapolis).
