The AI lab led by astrophysicist Carolina Bessega that launched in October has brought on a new team member.

Digital marketing expert Sonia Allard has been named VP of Sales and Marketing at Stradigi, which now boasts Stradigi Labs, one of the largest AI labs in Canada.

Allard has over 15 year os experience in sales and marketing, including 10 years in online marketing.

The energy and the passion of the people I met here combined with my curiosity and willingness to challenge myself made it an easy choice.”

Stradigi is an applied research center focused on developing innovative AI solutions in high-growth markets such as medical and healthcare, sports and social platforms. The lab operates as a separate division under the Stradigi family of companies and is led by Carolina Bessega PhD and astrophysicist. She is joined by Jaime Camacaro, Stradigi Chief Innovation Officer and both of the original, principal owners and founders of Stradigi’s umbrella companies, Basil Bouraropoulos, CEO and Curtis Gavura, COO.

“We realized our team could benefit from additional senior leadership due to the increasing demands from our new and existing client base. Sonia’s profile really stood out to us because of her experience in merging both the sales and marketing teams in order for them to bolster their efforts to support the accelerated growth of the company,” Basil Bouraropoulos, CEO and co-founder told MTLinTECH.

Allard’s first act as Stradigi’s VP will be merging the sales and marketing teams in order to build an efficient business development machine to support the accelerated growth of the company.

With an influx of new projects on the horizon, Stradigi is expanding its executive branch in order to support to growth of the company. Bouraropoulos says to expect further exciting news from the team in the coming year.
