The Solutions Architect is responsible for the development of technology solutions as well as mapping the business requirements for systems/technical requirements, in order to ensure they are aligned with the business architectural plan. In this role, your responsibilities will be as follows:

• Develop, architect, test and implement loosely coupled distributed software solutions;
• Research and use up-to-date technological developments to customer engagements;
• Proven experience of successful delivery of complex, highly performing, redundant and quality software systems;
• Proven experience of working with business stakeholders, Product Owners and Business Analysts to analyze requirements, develop ideas and design solutions;
• Ensure that applications meet business requirements and systems goals as well as fulfill business and customer requirements;
• Provide proactive guidance on engineering methodologies, standards, and leading practices;
• Identify, communicate and mitigate risks, assumptions, issues, and decisions throughout full life-cycle;
• Collect and document business requirements, technical requirements and process flows;
• Understand technology trends and practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving business and operating modules;
• Help in creating unified development standards in the company;
• Demo technical solutions for customers and users.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business or a related field;
• 10+ years of experience in a development capacity;
• 5+ years of experience in an architectural function and also with strong hands-on development;
• Agility in reaching milestones and goals, including knowledge and practice in agile methods of delivery;
• Deep understanding of API’s and all the nuances associated like security, scaling etc.;
• Strong architectural documentation skill set – being able to succinctly document the design with the use of visual aids to limit debate related to the intent of the design;
• Understanding of non-functional requirements, quality assurance, and continuous improvement methods;
• Detail orientated, high availability and metrics insight design principals;
• Experience with modern architecture components/designs – such as Angular
• Node.js
• Python
• Microservices
• NoSQL
• Platform as a Service / Infrastructure as a Service Etc.
