Gameloft has more than 4000 employees worldwide, including 477 in Montreal. All of them are suddenly working from home because of the Covid-19 pandemic and it took the hard work of many members of the Montreal team to adjust the company’s systems to make that possible so quickly.

Now, as a way of paying it forward for its users, Gameloft has announced it will be giving away small in-game gifts on 35 of their freemium titles on PC, mobile and Nintendo Switch platforms. These gamer gifts will be of a few dollars in value, and be available from today until March 31.

“We set up in-game packages so that people stuck at home could be a bit more entertained and have something to play with without investing” said Gameloft’s Communications Director, Genevieve Sorel who tells MTLinTech that each one of the titles will have different in-game benefits available for free. “Since we’re all now all spending long hours stuck at home, these packages are given for free.”

Amongst Gameloft’s titles joining the initiative are Asphalt 8: Airborne, Asphalt 9: Legends, LEGO Legacy: Heroes Unboxed, Disney Getaway Blast, Disney Princess Majestic Quest, Disney Magic Kingdoms, SongPop 2, March of Empires, War Planet Online, Overdrive City, Dragon Mania Legends, Modern Combat 5, Sniper Fury, Dungeon Hunter 5, Gangstar IV and many, many more.
