FounderFuel 2020 Now Accepting Applications
Sharpen your pencils. One of Canada’s best know venture accelerators is now accepting applications for its 2020 cohort.
After 12 cohorts and nearly 100 companies, Montreal’s own FounderFuel is back for another year. They offer an intense 3-month program for ambitions early-stage entrepreneurs with promising ideas. The program is industry agnostic, and ideas with the potential to disrupt major industries will be looked at closely. The program accepts startups from the idea stage to the seed stage. Your business almost can’t be too young, so long as you’ve got the right idea.
There is a new feature being added to the program this time around. FounderFuel is calling it Conscious Leadership. This new programming will have an emphasis on leadership development, founder mindset and company culture. The objective of adding this is to offer founders the resources they will inevitably need for the emotional challenges and intensity of cultivating a high growth startup attractive to venture capital. This is an issue that more and more entrepreneurs have had to work on in recent years.
Of course, diversity remains a core value of the FounderFuel program. 2019’s cohort featured 40% women led companies and the organizers are hoping for an even higher ratio next time around. In a recent blog post, they invite referrals and applications from founders who may be part of underrepresented groups.
So, if this sounds like you, or if you think you may know someone who got the type of startup describes above, then connect with the world-class team at FounderFuel today. Applications are accepted until January 26th at midnight.
