Anges Québec invests in HR software ImpressView

Eight Anges Québec investors have backed the launch of ImpressView Inc, a Montreal-based human resources software startup. No financial terms have been released.

Founded by Imad Ezzeddine, ImpressView operates a video platform to help businesses with recruitment needs and job seekers with personal brand management. Anges Québec’s financing helped the company to forge new partnerships.

“The days of cover letters are over!” ImpressView founder Imad Ezzeddine declared in a press release.“Our new video platform lets professionals introduce themselves virtually—with sound and image—before going in for live interviews. We set out not just to save recruiters’ valuable time but also to help professionals understand the importance of personal branding.”

The backing from Anges Québec has helped ImpressView forge partnerships and integrate their video platform with key human resources software companies - including iCIMS and Greenhouse. The advisory committee is rounded out by high-profile individuals who have previous experience working for heavyweights like Monster, Workopolis, and Taleo as well as influential, Forbes-recognized US brand strategists Leonard Kim and Ryan Foland.

“You can see ImpressView’s potential from the kind of people who’ve partnered with Imad Ezzeddine, a creative, passionate entrepreneur,” Étienne Veilleux, one of the venture’s eight angel investors said in the press release.“The investors of Anges Québec are delighted to be part of this project and its official launch. We believe ImpressView really has what it takes to revolutionize the world of professional recruitment.”

Anges Québec will be running the next webinar in their series “How I Raised My Funding” featuring Imad Ezzeddine from ImpressView on March 29th at 12:00 pm. Click here to register up to 30 minutes before the webinar begins. The presentation will be in French.
